Meaning-making is the primary task of the writer; “the poem” or “the story” is the clothesline upon which one hangs meaning out to “dry”. In this hour and a half workshop with poet, Gray Jacobik, she’ll be talking about these distinctions and showing participants how to use them in their writing to bring words nearer to the bone of authentic speaking.
